Celebrate life. To truly live, embrace each moment as a gift, and let gratitude be your constant companion.

Roger Joseph Griffith twice born, twice celebrated. A family favorite tale tells how Roger ended up with two birthdays March 8th and 16th thanks to a classic Caribbean registry mix-up. But one thing was always clear: Roger lived a life too full for just one day of celebration.

As the sixth child and first son of Nora and Roderick Griffith, Roger came into the world ready to make his mark. He earned his first coins straightening nails at age five and never stopped building from there. Whether laying foundations or crafting chicken coops, his craftsmanship was legendary precision always, shortcuts never.

Roger wasn’t just a builder by trade, but of character, community, and joy. With a hammer in one hand and cricket bat in the other, he played every role player, umpire, coach, and commentator, often switching accents mid-sentence just to keep things lively.

His greatest creation? The life he built with Yvonne and their children.

Roger lived with laughter, worked with pride, and loved with all his heart. He leaves behind a legacy etched not just in concrete, but in memories, moments, and a thousand shared smiles.
